John Downing

John is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a major in Management and a dual minor in Accounting and Finance. He has spent the past 40 years leading Downcourt, Inc., assisting business owners with employee benefits, exit planning strategies, estate planning, and retirement issues. Downcourt and DMA maintain a strategic relationship, collaborating on healthcare coverage matters for the benefit of their respective clients.

John’s clients include US-based organizations and international organizations with operations in the US. He has been recognized as a top practitioner in the financial services industry, consistently ranking in the top 3% of the industry. In 2011, John was named as a Five Star wealth manager by 5280 Magazine and the Denver Business Journal. Subsequently, in 2012, he was named as a Five Star benefits consultant.

John has served on numerous charitable boards including The Food Bank of the Rockies and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. John is past President of the Glenmoor Country Club in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado.
